Chocolate Peanut Butter Overnight Oatmeal

Liked the Banana Nut Overnight Oatmeal? Try this peanut butter and chocolate variation (note that this would also be scrumptious with mashed banana).

You will need:

  • 1 1/2 c slow cooking oats
  • 1 1/2 c milk
  • 4-5 oz vanilla yogurt
  • 1/3 c peanut butter
  • 4 T unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 T pure maple syrup
  • 1 t vanilla extract

Then you will…

  1. In a medium bowl, combine everything.
  2. Stir well.
  3. Divide into four portions in containers with lids.
  4. Refrigerate overnight.
  5. Stir and enjoy!


  1. You are a total genius. This sounds amazing and I just mixed up a batch. I can’t wait to have it in the morning. I didn’t have vanilla yogurt, so I used plain. After I mixed up everything but the peanut butter, I divided it into two and made the kids’ with sunflower seed butter (Max is allergic). I’ll do a comparison taste test in the morning.

    • I’m sure it would be delicious with all sorts of butters. Hope you like it! I’ve also been playing around with the consistency – a little more oats to milk and it comes out almost like a pudding.
